Your RoleWe are seeking a motivated and talented individual to work on a variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience and developing their skills in building design. Key responsibilities will include:
- Working on simple projects or sections of projects, progressing towards responsibility for project sections
- Applying standard engineering techniques to solve problems
- Assisting senior engineers with analysis, design production, and calculations
- Preparing calculations and analysis of building structures
- Liaising and coordinating with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues under senior engineer supervision
We are looking for individuals with:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized institution
- Graduate membership with Engineers Australia
- An understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards
- 0-3 years of structural engineering experience
- The ability to apply theoretical engineering principles to practical situations through analysis and interpretation
- Strong problem-solving/analytical skills
