Culinary Director

As a seasoned culinary expert, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our discerning clientele.

• Develop and execute innovative menus that showcase modern Australian cuisine with international flair
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless food preparation and presentation
• Estimate supplies, equipment, and staff requirements to optimize operational efficiency
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas to maintain stringent sanitation standards
• Provide guidance and training to cooks and workers on food preparation and presentation techniques

Work closely with sales representatives to negotiate prices and develop recipes and menus that meet customer expectations. Supervise cooks and workers engaged in food preparation and coordinate activities to ensure smooth operation.

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, either regularly or for special guests or functions. Develop and implement new menu items, taking into account factors such as food cost, labour, and overhead expenses.

• Proven experience in a commercial kitchen environment
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
