Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, a leading Australian retail bank with over 7,000 employees, is seeking a seasoned leader to join its team as Team Manager, Partner Assist.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you providing leadership and guidance to a team of Business Development Associates, supporting Partners and Brokers to drive growth in the distribution capability. Reporting to the Senior Manager Parter Solutions, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing effective coaching, training, and mentoring to your team members to achieve operational excellence and meet service level agreements and business objectives.
  • Building and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes that satisfy all parties involved.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and contribute to a robust risk and compliance environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including coaching, training, and empowering team members.
  • Advanced communication skills to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage processes and policies, as well as understanding of RFSA/PFSB platforms.
  • Experience working in Third Party Banking or Third Party Broking, although not mandatory.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to driving exceptional customer outcomes and continuous improvement.
