Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at NSW Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting safe and effective nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients in an outpatient and/or acute hospital setting, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with current standards of nursing practice and NSW Health policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based interventions to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, using clear and concise language to ensure that all parties are informed and engaged in the care process.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, ensuring that all aspects of care are addressed and that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated nursing skills, knowledge, and ability relevant to the area within an outpatient and/or acute hospital setting.
- Proven clinical problem-solving skills to maximize patient care.
- Effective clinical communication skills, including the use of information technology and written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and coordinate patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment, providing outcome-based care.
- Ability to work a Monday to Friday day shift roster.
