We are seeking a skilled Hygiene Specialist to join our team. The role involves conducting health and hygiene risk assessments, creating management plans, and executing industry-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting health and hygiene risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement controls
  • Creating effective management plans to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
  • Operating and executing industry-related equipment for sampling and testing
  • Conducting noise surveys and dosimetry to assess noise levels and exposure
  • Project management skills to plan, prepare, and execute hygiene monitoring programmes

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified in a relevant field (ideally in hygiene) with a postgraduate qualification in occupational hygiene
  • Surface Ventilation Officer certification and DMIRS Registered Sampler number
  • Noise Officer Certificate
  • Full Membership with the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) or Provisional membership considered
