About the Role

We are seeking compassionate Home Care Specialists for our Sunshine Coast service area to provide dedicated support and empowerment to our clients, enabling them to maintain an independent and healthy lifestyle at home.

You will be responsible for assisting with personal care, medication management, transportation, social activities, and domestic tasks as required. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work in various suburbs across the region.

About You

To ensure effective and continuous care, we require our Home Care Specialists to be dedicated, reliable, and flexible. We look for:

  • A genuine interest in helping others and providing exceptional care.
  • Experience in various outdoor pursuits and activities.
  • A practical understanding of hygiene assistance and commitment to care.
  • Enjoyment in social activities and one-on-one engagement.
  • Understanding of physical limitations and a safe approach.
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, sensitivity, and emotional stability.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Disability Services, or a similar field.
  • Completion of Assist Clients with Medication (or commitment to obtain).
  • Completion of Recognise Healthy Body Systems (or commitment to obtain).
  • A current National Police Certificate.
  • Current Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle.
  • Immunisation against Tetanus & Hepatitis B.
  • Physical capability to meet the requirements of the role.
