Clinical Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead our Community Mental Health Teams in delivering high-quality clinical care to patients.

  • This role will provide psychiatric services, demonstrate clinical leadership, and contribute to the body of professional knowledge through presentations and publications.
  • The successful candidate will participate in professional development activities for the multi-disciplinary team, adhere to legal provisions, and foster an environment of education and quality improvement.
  • They will also provide supervision and teaching opportunities to Registrars, Junior Medical Staff, and other professionals within the Service.
  • Key responsibilities include providing direct psychiatric clinical services, leading Community Mental Health Teams, and contributing to research, learning, and evaluation activity.

About the Role

This is a critical leadership position that requires exceptional clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire a multidisciplinary team.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualifications in psychiatry or a related field
  • Advanced training in clinical leadership and management
  • Demonstrated experience in providing direct psychiatric services and leading community mental health teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
