Leadership Role in Education and Training

As a visionary leader in education and training, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of psychiatric education and training in Australia and New Zealand.

This leadership position offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the improvement of mental healthcare as a senior executive at Davidson. You will be responsible for driving innovation and positioning psychiatry as a profession of choice through contemporary learning and development.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in governance, accreditation, and change management, with a strong understanding of postgraduate assessment processes and the regulatory frameworks shaping professional education.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver innovative programs, strategies, and policies across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Drive the revision of the Fellowship Program and ensure compliance with accreditation standards set by the Australian and New Zealand Medical Councils.
  • Foster a collaborative, values-based culture that ensures the College's education programs are contemporary, inclusive, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of trainees, Fellows, and the wider profession.

You will also play a critical role in embedding lived and living experience into the College's education programs, expanding its depth of impact alongside the College's cultural safety framework and strong bi-national focus.

The ideal candidate will be a registered medical specialist with extensive experience working within large education or training organisations, and will possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
