Mechanical Lead Engineer RoleWe are seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead our maintenance team, providing technical advice and solutions to improve plant reliability. The ideal candidate will have experience in batch manufacturing, supervisory roles, and knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive maintenance solutions to prevent equipment failures.
- Manage a team of mechanical engineers, overseeing maintenance activities during facility shutdowns.
- Investigate process and equipment issues, identifying root causes and implementing permanent solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering position.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, overseeing contractors or trades.
- Familiarity with CMMS software and maintenance systems.
