Job Role: Third Party Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Third Party Security Specialist to ensure the security of third-party suppliers and platforms that interact with our systems and data.

Your key responsibilities will include reviewing and negotiating security terms in contracts, ensuring third-party contracts contain appropriate security and compliance clauses, collaborating with risk & compliance teams to ensure all third-party relationships meet legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining records of supplier assessments, security risks, and remediation actions, conducting asset security assessments on third-party managed platforms, preparing and producing Third Party reports, and performing other duties as may be reasonably required.

About You:

  • Experience in information security, supplier risk management, or third-party security assessments
  • Strong knowledge of third-party risk management (TPRM) principles and security best practices
  • Ability to assess technical risks and security measures in supplier systems
  • Proficiency with security assessment tools and methodologies
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and relationship building with internal teams, suppliers, and senior management
  • Strong data analysis, problem identification, and problem resolution skills
  • Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2
  • Preferred Tools and Technologies: Supplier risk management platforms, Education/Professional certification: Tertiary qualifications in computer science or technology-related field, or equivalent work or education experience, Cyber Security industry certifications highly regarded
