Job Opportunity:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled culinary professional to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef to work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment, creating innovative dishes and contributing to the success of our hotel's culinary offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and cooking contemporary dishes for guests and events, including special menus that follow current trends and demands.
  • Ensure accurate handling and preparation of dietary requirements, taking into account guest preferences and allergies.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, happy, and productive work environment, adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to control costs and optimize food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, adhering to quality control procedures.

 

About You:

  • Minimum 12 months full Australian working rights (sponsorship not offered).
  • Physically based in the Perth metropolitan area or willing to relocate.
  • Flexibility and availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Commis Chef in a hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Ability to handle pressure situations with ease and poise, demonstrating exceptional time management and organizational skills.
