This role is focused on providing community-based services to children impacted by homelessness and/or domestic and family violence. The speech pathologists will work with a maximum of four clients per monthly session, delivering one education session to staff and stakeholders to build capacity and raise awareness.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to children affected by homelessness and/or domestic and family violence.
- Deliver educational sessions to staff and stakeholders to enhance their understanding of the impact of trauma on language development.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting children's language and communication needs.
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Professional indemnity insurance.
- NSW driver's licence.
- Recent Police Check and Working with Children Check.
