About the RoleAs a Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining AWS environments, designing and developing CICD pipelines, elastic, auto-scaling, compliant, secured, and highly-available infrastructure. You'll work in a cross-functional team with skill sets in full-stack software engineering, infrastructure, quality assurance, and architecture.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing IAC using AWS Cloudformation, Terraform Cloud, and GitHub Actions
- Configuring and administering monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana, and Cloudwatch
- Working on highly available and secured network design (VPC, Subnet, route tables, DMZ, NAT, IP whitelisting)
- Building pipeline for Microservice and Serverless deployments (AWS Lambda, API Gateway)
- Architecting and designing multi-region cloud deployments
- Developing strategy to optimize cloud and infrastructure costs
- Building AWS ECS cluster and managing Docker containers
- Managing AWS Cloud services, including CloudFormation, VPC, Subnets, EIP, EC2, VPC Peering, PrivateLink, Direct Connect, Security Group, ACL, VPN, Loading Balancing, Route53, CloudFront, ECS, ECR, Auto-Scaling, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, System Manager, Parameter Store, Certificate Manager, Secrets Manager, KMS, CloudWatch logs, events, triggers, CloudTrail, X-Ray, Organisation, Single Sign-On, Lambda, API Gateway, and AWS config & Guard Duty
We're looking for someone with:
- Python automation skills and experience with infrastructure processes
- AWS security posture management expertise
- Cloud optimization and performance tuning experience
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills and experience with designing and deploying infrastructure using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform Cloud, and GitHub Actions
- Monitoring and tools expertise, including Datadog and Grafana
- Network design knowledge, including subnets, route tables, DMZs, NAT, and IP whitelisting
- Microservice and serverless architecture experience, particularly with AWS Lambda and API Gateway
- Database management skills, including SQL and NoSQL databases, clustering, and replication strategies
- Cloud security expertise and knowledge of cloud security models and best practices
- High-load systems management experience, with a proven track record in maintaining mission-critical, high-load production systems with an SLA of 99.999%
