Job Title: Team Lead – Asset And Configuration

The Agency is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader for its Asset and Configuration management team, responsible for leading a team of asset officers managing all aspects of the asset and configuration management life cycle for the Agency. It will work closely with the Agency to develop, configure, maintain, support and optimize the Asset and Configuration management function.

The position will lead a Hub supporting the Agency, with a team to be built around the Team Lead in the region. Over time this position may have up to as many as 5 direct reports.

The Team Leader will lead a team, and will coordinate ICT Asset Management processes, including ordering, warehousing, and distribution of ICT equipment and peripherals for Agency Staff and Partners.

Duties:

  • Leading a Hub of the Agency's Asset Management team, delivering essential ICT hardware and software services to the Agency.
  • Work collaboratively with third party vendors, investigating new service offerings, asset recovery and repair approaches.
  • Contributing to the design and implementation of an operating model that reflects new ways of working.
  • Manage Asset Stocktake and Audits.
  • Designing, building, deploying and supporting the Agency's hardware fleet, while also implementing technical change management activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams to deliver ICT services through ICT management frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Demonstrated experience with ICT Asset Management, Configuration Management and warehousing processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in each of the following areas: freight forwarding, logistics, inventory administration, purchasing or supply chain administration.
  • Demonstrated a strong commitment to meeting agreed work targets and standards. Highly organised, methodical and have a high attention to detail whilst ensuring deadlines are achieved.
  • Experience undertaking ICT asset functions in complex geographically diverse organisations. Experience working as part of cross-agency teams spanning geographic locations.
