As a seasoned iOS engineer at Optus, you will play a pivotal role in crafting high-quality software solutions that transform the lives of millions. We are part of the Mobile Chapter team, the driving force behind Australia's leading telco app, spread across various business units within Optus. Your typical day would involve participating in software design reviews to ensure delivery of top-notch products, collaborating with junior developers on best practices, and translating business requirements into working deliverables. You will also be responsible for monitoring development work, ensuring it meets established goals, and advocating for new technology approaches while integrating architectural solutions.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • 2-3 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality native iOS applications using the latest Swift versions.
  • Solid unit and UI test automation experience with XCTest.
  • A deep understanding of Apple Human Interface guidelines and mobile user interface design principles.
  • Familiarity with Xcode tools, Appstore Connect, application provisioning, Development Certificate management, and App distribution.
  • A strong grasp of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and patterns.
