About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Road Transport Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Road Transport Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Job Summary

This is a challenging role that requires technical expertise in diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards. You will work with a range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems found in heavy vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks, buses, trailers, and other road transport equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs using advanced technical skills
  • Ensure vehicles meet safety standards and are ready for operation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Lv Mechanic trade qualifications, minimum Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology preferred
  • Experience with commercial trucks preferred
  • Clean-shaven for FIT testing
  • Unrestricted C-class manual license required
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Minimum commitment of 12 months; casual ongoing role
