About the Role:

This role is focused on driving business growth through data-driven decision making and inventory management. As a key member of the Accent Group Limited team, you will be responsible for analyzing sales, gross profit, and inventory productivity measures to inform buying decisions and optimize inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the buying team in managing brand portfolios, with a focus on Timberland, Herschel, and Superga.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial reports for weekly and monthly reviews, providing insights into sales, gross profit, and inventory targets.
  • Lead the forecast review process to identify opportunities and risks, and develop plans to achieve budget outcomes.
  • Manage OTB and purchases to ensure targets are met, and maintain inventory levels within agreed parameters.
  • Investigate and analyze business and financial challenges, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct post-seasonal and semi-annual reviews to inform forward strategies and key actions.
  • Collaborate with the allocator to maximize sales and deliver profitable outcomes.
  • Manage in-stocks of repeatable lines, and develop markdown and promotional strategies.
  • Develop merchandise strategies in conjunction with the buyer, and determine optimum stock levels.
  • Monitor sales and performance trends, recommending corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage an OTB.
  • Forecasting ability.
  • Ability to understand data and analytics, and make recommendations.
  • Proven ability to drive inventory productivity improvements.
  • Ability to think strategically and take a proactive approach.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to lead Excel-based projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in Planner and Inventory Management roles.
