About the Role
The PMO function plays a crucial part in managing several large-scale programs of work, with a strong pipeline into the future. We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to drive accountability, transparency, and performance across all projects.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in portfolio planning and strategic roadmap for the PMO.
- Act as Chair for all steering committee meetings.
- Ensure resource allocation to meet productivity goals.
- Oversee the delivery governance framework on an individual project level.
- Provide analytical insights and progress updates on project delivery.
- Report on the financial performance versus budget for the portfolio.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A background in project management, with experience at the PMO Manager or Program Manager level.
- Leadership experience, where you have upskilled and developed a team.
- A widely accepted project management qualification or certification.
- A track record of driving accountability and transparency in your project management.
- Proven financial acumen and understanding of P&L management and budgeting in a fiscal context.
- Experience working with Steering committees and directly partnering with 'C' suite stakeholders.
- A demonstrated ability to introduce a project management framework to a new or emerging PMO.
