Occupational Therapist Opportunity

Catholic Healthcare is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in South East Sydney and the Inner West. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients in their homes, providing comprehensive assessments and interventions to promote health, wellness, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive OT assessments for clients with multiple and complex needs.
  • Provide specific OT services and programs, including home assessments and advice on activities of daily living.
  • Facilitate and assist in development of community-based Health and Wellness programs and groups.
  • Involve clients and carers in developing care plans that are person-centered and reablement-focused.
  • Provide support, education, and direction to community workers and staff to assist them in supporting our clients.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with postgraduate experience.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Commitment and enthusiastic approach towards working with clients, families, carers, and advocates.
  • Experience in equipment prescription, pressure care, home modifications, and falls prevention for older adults.
  • Industry knowledge of local and international wellness and reablement models of care.
