About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate MSK Physiotherapist to join our team at Mediix in Canberra. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to clients in a variety of settings, including NDIS, Medicare, and private practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treating clients in a gym facility and medical centre, including NDIS, Medicare, private, DVA, Work Cover, insurance, and sporting populations
  • Coordination of appointments and completion of service agreements
  • Developing holistic, client-centred, and outcomes-driven care interventions and care plans
  • Providing support and assistance to clients, carers, and families with the implementation of intervention plans and programs
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and modifying treatment to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention
  • Writing comprehensive reports and physiotherapy plans based on advanced clinical understanding and application of various clinical assessments
Requirements
  • AHPRA registration
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
  • High level of professional judgement and knowledge to provide a wide range of therapy supports
  • Advanced clinical understanding
  • Experience/understanding of working in the NDIS (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrable clinical and rehabilitation skills and experience
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Commitment to client outcomes and evidence-based practice
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment
