Financial Data Analyst Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our team as a Financial Data Analyst. The role will involve working on a long-term project, supporting the revenue recognition process, claim validation, and financial reporting.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for validating and preparing data for revenue recognition and client claim submissions in line with contractual requirements.
  • Collaboration with internal teams and subcontractors will be essential to ensure accurate and timely processing of claims.
  • Monitoring and managing aged claims, rejections, and underclaims will be necessary to maintain a healthy ledger and support cash flow forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI for financial and operational insights.
  • Collaboration: Partner with commercial, finance, and project teams to resolve disputes and optimize revenue outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support the development of junior team members and contribute to process enhancements.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP.
  • Proficiency in SAP is desirable; however training can be provided.
  • Experience in accounts receivable, project accounting, or similar operational finance roles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure workloads and meet multiple deadlines.
