At SHRED-X, we're on a mission to revolutionize the way businesses manage their waste. As a Customer-Facing MR Driver, you'll play a crucial role in helping us achieve this goal.

Job Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys city driving, working with customers, and being part of a dynamic team. You'll be responsible for delivering and picking up our recycling bins safely and on time, while building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a manual truck within the Melbourne CBD 5 days a week, navigating through busy streets with ease and professionalism.
  • Develop strong connections with our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Load and unload the truck efficiently, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Follow established routes using a PDA, which we will train you on.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience driving a manual truck.
  • Familiarity with navigating the Melbourne CBD.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Safe lifting and handling skills, with attention to detail.
  • A hard-working, reliable, and punctual attitude.
  • The ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including:

  • A base pay of $80,000 per annum, plus 14.19% superannuation.
  • Guaranteed seven hours of overtime every week, paid at an additional rate.
  • A $4,000 bonus every year, paid in quarterly installments.
  • 27.64% extra pay on annual leave.
  • $150 per day for overnight trips.
  • The option to work weekends, with flexible scheduling.
