Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Injury Lawyer to join our team at AFL Recruitment. As a Personal Injury Lawyer, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of cases, including abuse and workers compensation/public liability claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients, other solicitors, insurers, and doctors to gather information and evidence.
  • Undertake legal research and review clinical/medical notes to build strong cases.
  • Arrange appointments and draft various legal/court documents.
  • Brief counsel and attend court to represent clients.
  • Work closely with the Managing Partner and other lawyers to ensure seamless case management.

Requirements:

  • Admitted lawyer or law graduate soon to be admitted.
  • Minimum 1 year or more personal injury legal experience in abuse law (essential) and workers compensation/public liability (not essential).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hungry to progress your personal injury legal career long-term with an employer committed to investing in your success.
