We are seeking a skilled Roller Operator to join our team at RPR Trades. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, including 16 ton padfoot rollers and 18 ton smooth drum rollers, as well as other machinery such as watercarts and track dumpers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform general civil labouring duties, including grade checking and measuring
- Erect and dismantle temporary fencing and other site infrastructure
- Assist with spotting trucks and plant
- Use two-way radios and other communication tools
- Work in a fast-paced environment with live traffic and earthmoving machinery
- Hold a valid RII or ticket for roller operation
- Hold a Construction White Card
- Be physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment
- Have a strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols
