About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Programmed. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing advanced equipment in pathology settings across WA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair large instrumentation equipment in pathology settings.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, perform diagnostics, and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to identify solutions.
  • Complete upgrades and modifications within specified time frames.
  • Document service activities through detailed service reports and provide recommendations for improvement to relevant Technical Teams.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with local and remote teams to share knowledge, resolve complex issues, and enhance service efficiency.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and maintain all assigned company assets, including tools and mobile devices.
  • Be available for on-call duties and provide telephone support as required.
  • Participate in team activities across all functions and build strong client relationships through exceptional service and support.
About You
  • Advanced Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Robotics and Mechatronics, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in a technical role, preferably within the medical device industry or pathology field, is highly advantageous.
  • Fundamental IT skills, with an understanding of computer system network construction and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with both local and remote colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic and test equipment.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Full Australian Working Rights.
Travel Requirements

Travel to various customer locations, including metropolitan, regional, and occasionally interstate.
