Job Description

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to deliver exceptional care in Residential Aged Care settings.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting in delivering all physiotherapy services, servicing RAC clients according to the Allied Health Professionals treatment plan, transporting residents, setting up and packing away the physiotherapy gym, collecting referrals, ordering prescribed equipment, running exercise groups, and consulting with Physiotherapists/Occupational Therapists regarding adaptations and progressions of treatment plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong ability to work in a team environment, and a high level of adaptability. You must also have a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
