Job Title: Lead Infrastructure Consultant

The role of Lead Infrastructure Consultant is a senior, full-time position that focuses on providing expert engineering input into transport infrastructure projects to meet community needs. This involves delivering concept designs, briefs, and project coordination for capital works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert advice grounded in best-practice transport design, standards, and Council policies.
  • Develop concept designs that respond to real user needs.
  • Prepare and review detailed design briefs to guide internal and external teams.
  • Collaborate across the team, coach and support other teammates, and manage time and stakeholder communications.
  • Review civil engineering design plans to ensure compliance with relevant standards, ensuring value for money for the community.
  • Certify engineering designs as an expert in your field.

About You:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or ability to obtain within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence.
