As a result of our continued success and stability in the market, we are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our Yatala team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Auto Electrician to ensure that our plant equipment is serviced and maintained in a safe and timely manner. The successful candidate will report directly to the Workshop Manager and be responsible for:

  • Ensuring plant equipment is serviced and maintained in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company policies.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of electrical components.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues with plant equipment.
  • Collaborating with the Workshop Manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to other team members as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A trade qualification in Automotive Electrical Technology, ideally Certificate III, or be undertaking an apprenticeship studying this certificate.
  • Mobile plant experience is essential, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
  • Experience with OEM diagnostic tooling and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • A current Driver's License and a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A methodical and organized approach, with a strong attention to detail and ability to follow established safety procedures.
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
