As a result of our continued success and stability in the market, we are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our Yatala team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Auto Electrician to ensure that our plant equipment is serviced and maintained in a safe and timely manner. The successful candidate will report directly to the Workshop Manager and be responsible for:
- Ensuring plant equipment is serviced and maintained in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company policies.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of electrical components.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues with plant equipment.
- Collaborating with the Workshop Manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Providing technical guidance and support to other team members as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A trade qualification in Automotive Electrical Technology, ideally Certificate III, or be undertaking an apprenticeship studying this certificate.
- Mobile plant experience is essential, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Experience with OEM diagnostic tooling and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- A current Driver's License and a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A methodical and organized approach, with a strong attention to detail and ability to follow established safety procedures.
- A flexible and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
