Accountant Opportunity at a Leading Accounting Practice

Mills Recruitment is partnering with a prominent Accounting practice in Perth CBD to find an intermediate level accountant to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills, with experience in preparing tax returns, financial statements, and providing tax advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
  • Providing tax advice and solutions to clients.
  • Assisting in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and researching tax matters.
  • Liaising with clients, the ATO, and other relevant bodies.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in accounting.
  • CPA/CA part-qualified preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in dealing with complex groups.
  • Knowledge of Division 7a/UPE's desirable.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
