Perioperative Care Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and confident Registered Nurse to join our team in a role that ensures seamless, safe, and patient-centred care in the perioperative journey.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Transport patients from wards and Day Surgery to operating theatres ensuring timely schedules
  • Provide safe, person-centred clinical care during patient transfers
  • Support perioperative workflow and maintain theatre schedules
  • Communicate effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and nursing teams
  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and adaptability in a busy environment
  • Promote a culture of safety, empathy, and respect across all interactions

About You

  • You are a motivated and confident Registered Nurse who takes pride in delivering exceptional care. Your calm, solution-focused approach allows you to navigate challenges with professionalism.
  • To be successful, you will have:
    • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience in perioperative or acute care nursing.
    • Previous experience in theatre transport (highly regarded).
    • Excellent communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills.
    • A flexible and proactive approach to patient care.
