Technical Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Resources Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining technical resources, including books, journals, and electronic media.

Job Description

The Technical Resources Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring that critical information is easily accessible and up-to-date. This includes:

  • Cataloging and maintaining technical documents and archives
  • Assisting users in finding technical resources and providing research assistance
  • Implementing and managing library management systems and databases

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and IT skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing a technical library or similar resources is required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field
  • US TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph or AUS PV Clearance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent decision-making skills and ability to adapt to changing conditions
