About the Opportunity

This permanent role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis and is located in a supportive environment.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Diploma Qualified Educator to join our diverse and supportive team at Uniting Early Learning.

Educating children in the Nursery, you will develop educational programs that focus on children's independence to play, discover, and learn. You will have the ability to communicate the children's educational experiences with parents daily.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for educating children aged 0-2 and who actively embraces professional development and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality education and care to children to support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework
  • Develop positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families, and community
  • Facilitate play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interests, strengths, and abilities
  • Document children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes
Requirements
  • Diploma in Children Services (essential)
  • Previous experience working at a Diploma Level in an early learning service
  • Experience in a Room Leader role (desirable)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and community members
  • Adaptability, empathy, and resourcefulness
