Leading Process Control Systems Engineer

This role is part of an engineering team, focused on delivering large-scale process and control system design for mining and infrastructure projects.
- Detailed exposure to large-scale process/machine control systems (PLC/SCADA) for iron ore handling plants such as car dumpers, stackers, reclaimers and conveyors.
Lead PLC/SCADA code development, testing and on-site commissioning with familiarity of asset control systems.
- Interface with other disciplines and 3rd parties to develop/review drawings, functional descriptions/specifications, commissioning test plans and related documentation.
- Follow client standards and apply to specific solutions.
- Contribute to project documentation such as execution plans and related deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with management, co-workers, clients, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Provide mentoring to less experienced engineers/designers.
- Apply strong analytical skills to solve problems with attention to detail.
- Participate in bid preparations, tender evaluations and related project activities.
- Incorporate health, safety, and environmental factors in design activities, particularly in relation to functional safety of control systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Australian accredited 4-year engineering degree.
