The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Establishing and operating the safeSPACE Connect service, ensuring it meets the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
- Leading a team of youth workers and providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Developing and implementing a case management framework that prioritizes the needs of our clients.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to design and deliver engaging programs and services that promote the well-being and safety of at-risk youth.
- Driving continuous improvement by evaluating outcomes and implementing best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in Youth/Community or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing services with case management and targeted programs.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to provide guidance and support to a team.
- Specialized knowledge and experience of utilizing strengths-based, person-centered, trauma-aware, solutions-focused approaches.
- Well-developed knowledge of social, cultural, and economic issues affecting young people.
- High-level written and interpersonal skills, with competence in using Microsoft packages and other computer programs.
- Ability to practice to the standards of the WA Youth Work Code of Ethics.
- Possession of a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
