Library Services Manager

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Librarian to lead and coordinate effective public library services across our Ballina branches.
As a key member of the Richmond Tweed Regional Library (RTRL) team, you will ensure our libraries meet community needs through strategic planning, resource management, and community outreach.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage branch operations, including staff and volunteer coordination.
- Foster strong relationships with local schools, community groups, and stakeholders to enhance library engagement.
- Ensure the library's collection is diverse, relevant, and accessible.
- Lead and mentor staff, promoting a positive team culture focused on customer service.

**If You Are**
- A degree in Library and Information Services (or equivalent) and eligibility for ALIA membership.
- Proven experience managing library services, ideally in a public library setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build community and stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, customer-focused team.
