Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Khehra Motor Pty Ltd. As a Vehicle Servicing Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including vehicle servicing and repairs, engine rebuilds, and diagnosing potential faults in engines and their parts.

About the Role

  • Perform vehicle servicing and repairs, including engine rebuilds and other major repairs.
  • Examine motor engines and their pairs to identify potential issues.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in engines and their parts, referring to technical manuals as required.
  • Use technical equipment, including computer software, to test the function of engines and their parts.
  • Perform scheduled servicing maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, filter changes, and engine tune-ups.
  • Test and repair faults with electrical systems in vehicles, such as lights and ignition systems.

Requirements

  • Cert III Light Vehicle Mechanical and/or Diploma of Automotive Technology and at least 2 years' experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills in vehicle servicing and repairs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
