Key Responsibilities

As a Casual Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of individuals, premises, and assets on site. This includes:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to all stakeholders
  • Conducting regular foot patrols of the site and its assets
  • Performing unlock and lock up of access points within the site
  • Monitoring, controlling and maintaining CCTV, access control and BMS systems
  • Operation of fire systems
  • Incident response, resolution, and reporting
  • Management of contractors and visitors onsite

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in security, preferably in a similar role
  • VIC Security Licence (Unarmed, Crowd Control & Monitoring)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Knowledge of work health and safety and risk management practices
  • Proven experience in emergency response procedures
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse groups
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft products
  • Working with children card or willingness to obtain one
  • Valid Police check or willingness to obtain
