Heritage Coordinator Job Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Heritage Coordinator to play a key part in coordinating and advising on cultural heritage surveys and scheduling operations.

  • Coordinate work schedules and liaise with industry partners, independent consultants, and service providers.
  • Manage heritage agreements and monitor compliance of Indigenous Land Use, heritage, and other agreements.
  • Liaise with service providers, advise on statutory obligations, and maintain regular communication.
  • Manage logistics for implementation and consultation meetings as required.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping, including electronic and manual files.
  • Coordinate key cultural and heritage projects.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess excellent working knowledge of the WA Aboriginal Heritage Act and related resources development legislation.

  • Deliver results under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Arc GIS is essential.
  • A valid C-Class Manual Australian Drivers Licence is required.
Selection Criteria

The following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor's degree in archaeology, anthropology, project management or a related field.
  • At least three years of relevant experience, preferably in the Native Title sector.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the WA Aboriginal Heritage Act.
