About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Environmental Consultant to join our Contaminated Land Assessment and Remediation Section in Perth. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in leading the delivery of projects and providing technical guidance to mid-level and junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the effective planning and execution of complex projects, providing technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework and technical elements of the contaminated land sector, with a focus on Western Australia and New Zealand.
  • Provide guidance and direction on complex pursuits, including project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate with other sections within the business to deliver successful project outcomes for clients.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Geology, or Hydrogeology.
  • Extensive work experience in consulting, particularly in contaminated land assessment and remediation.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget, with a strong focus on team leadership and motivation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and videoconferencing software.
  • Current Defence Baseline Clearance and Australian Citizenship.
