Healthcare Support Professional Opportunity

We seek a dedicated and caring team member to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff in our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and secure hospital environment through timely emergency response and effective management of confrontational situations.
  • Deliver high-quality cleaning services while providing hands-on support to nursing and medical staff with direct patient care, including lifting, showering, and personal assistance.
  • Transport patients and essential items throughout the hospital, ensuring smooth and compassionate service at every step.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of infection control and environmental hygiene standards.
  • Current NSW Security Licence (Class 1A minimum), Senior First Aid Certificate, Class C Drivers' Licence, or eligibility for NSW Driver's Licence.
  • Sound understanding and practical application of risk management, safety, and quality principles.
  • Ability to interpret and apply Material Safety Data sheets (MSDs), Safe Work Practices sheets (SWPs), and written instructions effectively.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
