About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Catering-Cleaning Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the Health Service, including kitchen work, food handling, and general cleaning.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be team-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. They will also be flexible and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment in accordance with Victorian Health facilities cleaning standards
- Providing and maintaining a high-quality standard of cleanliness in all areas of the Health Service
- Ensuring that all residents, clients, visitors, and staff are treated with respect, dignity, and courtesy
- Performing all delegated duties in a timely and efficient manner
- Participating in the food service to residents and the removal of meal trays/food after completion
- Responsible for appropriately documenting activities
