The role of the educator is to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development. This involves delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs, as well as providing ongoing support and guidance to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Learning
    • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
    • Use data and assessment results to inform instruction and improve student outcomes.
  • Student Support
    • Provide individualized support and guidance to students to help them overcome academic challenges.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement strategies that promote student well-being and engagement.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure that everyone is informed and engaged in the educational process.
    • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to achieve common goals and objectives.

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and pedagogy, including literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in responding to student learning needs and planning for and implementing high-impact teaching strategies.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning, using data to inform teaching practice, and providing feedback on student growth and achievement.
