A Role That Makes a Difference
Job OverviewThis role is part of our efforts to support community engagement and improve cultural responsiveness. The ideal candidate will be able to plan and execute engaging activities, facilitate communication between stakeholders, and promote healthy relationships.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective community outreach strategies.
- Serve as a liaison between SA health services and Aboriginal communities.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and creating reports.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables efficiently.
- Distribute relevant information through various channels, including social media updates and newsletters.
- Respond to inquiries from community members and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- National Police Certificate or Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check is mandatory.
- Immunisation requirements for Category C are necessary due to minimal patient contact.
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent is required pursuant to the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (SA) exemption.
This position requires adaptability and flexibility, including part-time work arrangements. We encourage applicants to discuss flexible working options.
