About the Opportunity:
This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to join our team in Maroochydore, Queensland. You will be supported with state-of-the-art equipment, including a Siemens Biograph and Bayer Intego.
Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday, daytime hours only. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing compassionate and quality patient care, taking responsibility for patient welfare and confidentiality
- Performing a range of Nuclear Medicine/PET procedures, producing images of the highest diagnostic quality possible
- Interpreting requests and performing appropriate procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and department policies
- Committing to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques/advances
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills
- High attention to detail
- A Radiation Use Licence for your state or territory (or the ability to attain one)
- AHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/PET
- Full working rights in Australia
