Equipment Operator Instructor

Komatsu Australia is seeking an experienced Operator Trainer to join our team in Western Australia or Queensland.
About the Role:In this role, you will provide comprehensive training to operators on various Komatsu equipment, including dump trucks, wheel loaders, excavators, shovels, dozers, and graders.
You will develop tailored instruction that meets specific site and machinery needs, conduct on-site coaching and mentoring, ensure compliance with safety standards, monitor and evaluate operator performance, maintain accurate training records, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in training.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience operating heavy mining equipment, preferably with experience on electric and mechanical drive dump trucks, wheel loaders, excavators, shovels, dozers, and graders.
Demonstrated experience in delivering formal training programs and coaching, ideally within the mining or heavy machinery industries, is essential.
Sound knowledge of mining safety standards, hazard identification, and risk management practices is also required.
A current First Aid and CPR certification is desirable, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in using training management systems and digital tools.
