About the Role

As Lead Property Strategist, you will oversee the management of Adbri's extensive land assets, driving initiatives to support the company's operational and financial goals.

You will identify commercial opportunities, manage property development projects, and ensure the portfolio aligns with Adbri's broader strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Asset Optimisation: Assess properties for highest and best use, focusing on operational and financial efficiency.
  • Development Planning & Approvals: Secure permits, manage property development applications, and foster strong relationships with councils and regulatory bodies.
  • Project Management: Deliver asset optimisation projects, leveraging industry best practices and collaborating with subject matter experts.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets, track financial performance, and maximise returns through strategic sales, leases, or developments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, government agencies, and community stakeholders to support development and address concerns.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in property management, development planning, or asset optimisation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in securing council approvals and managing large-scale development processes.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to assess project feasibility.
  • Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Adbri offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
