Job Description

The Solution Architect will be responsible for developing technology solutions in the AWS cloud, ensuring alignment between customer expectations, business requirements, and current or future ICT capabilities.

This role involves managing and maintaining the enterprise reference architecture for DCS Spatial Services and providing input to the strategic direction of technology investments.

The successful candidate will demonstrate adaptability, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Highly adaptable and able to embrace change at a rapid pace.
  • Ability to identify system, infrastructure, and project interdependencies.
  • Ability to balance competing demands and ensure project deliverables are achieved.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
  • Formal tertiary qualification and/or relevant practical experience/certification in AWS Public Cloud is highly desirable.

This opportunity offers a salary grade 11/12, with a base salary starting at $145,378 plus superannuation.
