Job Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time Counsellor to provide compassionate support services to clients in our Melbourne clinic.

This is an opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, facilitating group sessions and providing health promotion education and activities.

The successful candidate will possess relevant qualifications and experience in counselling, social welfare, education or social sciences, and have proven experience in delivering counselling services in mental health settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate group sessions on mental health topics
  • Provide health promotion education and activities
  • Assess and provide casework services, including support and referral services
  • Organise activities promoting well-being
  • Maintain accurate documentation

Requirements:

  • Working rights in Australia
  • Relevant qualifications and experience
  • 3 years' experience in mental health settings
  • Experience working with AoD issues desirable
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or First Aid Certificate
