Excavator Operator

Protech Group is seeking an experienced Final Trim Excavator Operator to join our team in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide, Edinburgh. We are partnering with a reputable and well-known client who is expanding their team and seeking skilled operators like you.

This role offers stable, consistent work with the opportunity to be involved in versatile projects. As a Final Trim Excavator Operator, you will perform bulk earthworks for the construction of aircraft hangars, warehouses, workshops, offices, storage facilities, and pump stations.

• Operate final trim excavators to perform precise and accurate excavation work.
• Ensure that all excavation activities meet project specifications and standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and others on-site.
• Interpret and work from construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Assist with other general construction duties as required, contributing to the overall success of the project.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Final Trim Excavator Operator.
• Current Excavator Operator ticket/license (as required by local regulations).
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Experience with GPS/laser machine control systems is highly desirable.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Proven ability to work safely and efficiently in a construction environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
