Role Overview:
We are seeking skilled Telecommunications Riggers to enhance our dynamic workforce across Australia. As a vital member of the team, you will report to the Field Supervisor and lead efforts in the installation, maintenance, and repair of external telecommunications systems. This role provides opportunities to work at heights while adhering to client specifications and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage site operations and provide leadership to the team.
  2. Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications infrastructure, including pole and tower structures, mounting steelwork, RRU's, antennas, and cable terminations.
  3. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines while working at heights.
  4. Demonstrate familiarity with VHA/TPG specifications and HSE guidelines.
  5. Interpret technical design documents for equipment installation.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
  7. Work with Telstra, VHA/TPG, and Optus (4G/5G) equipment.
  8. Conduct maintenance, upgrades, and reinforcement of structures.
  9. Perform testing using various tools on fiber cables.
  10. Assist technicians with installation and fault resolution.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in the telecommunications sector.
  2. Strong understanding of WHS obligations.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  5. Eligibility to work in Australia.
  6. Possession of a Construction White Card.
  7. Valid Australian driver's license.
  8. Completion of safety inductions for Telstra, Optus, and VHA/TPG.
  9. RADHAZ Awareness.
